Memorandum Of Understanding Signing Ceremony

We ended our February with Memorandum Of Understanding signing ceremony between Fisheries Administration (FiA) and University of Kuala Lumpur (UNIKL) which marks the establishment of UniKL Academy. The Administration is the office for Department of Fisheries (DoF) under the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. Established in 2001, the FiA had contributed in helping the fishery industry sector by supporting the effective fisheries management and doing many researches related to fishery.

On 22th February 2013 at Senate Room, Fisheries Administration at Phnom Pehn, Cambodia UniKL had an opportunity by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Fisheries Administration. The objective of the MoU between the two parties is to design and deliver educational programmes in line with both UniKL and Fisheries Administration requirements.

Based from the speeches given by both UniKL’s President / Dean Prof. Dr. Roslan Ismail and Fisheries Administration's General Director, Prof. Dr. Nao Thuok , they have agreed that this collaborative effort will focus on collaborating knowledge among each other. Given the backgrounds of UniKL and Fisheries Administration, this might turn out beneficial for both parties in terms of generating more technopreneurs in the near future.
