Assalamualaikum. On Thursday, 6th February, 19 of us went to the Embassy of Malaysia together with Dr. Hamidon and Mr. Bukhari to pay a visit as a new welcoming batch 7 from UniKL MIIT. this is a great honor for us to meet the most important persons in Cambodia.
This is our first time come to Cambodia, so we have to fill up the form that given by the receptionist. *Gentle reminder, for the new batch you have to bring your original passport and a picture (passport) of yourselves.* After we all done with the form, we met up with the First Secretary Embassy of Malaysia, Mr. Mohamad Fairuz Shafie. He briefed us about the security while staying in Cambodia and giving some advices how we need to take care of ourselves (Do not falling in love with the Cambodian. heee =D ) Then, we went upstairs to met with Sargeant Mohd Shahril Mat Ali, the Assistant of Defence Attache, and Colonel Haji Adnan Haji Ariffin, the Defence Attache. Both of them look fierce but easy going (read: super funny). Like seriously, we like (love) them ! They told us about the important of healthy when staying far away from our hometown (read: family. haha). Do not buy any street foods in the Kingdom of Wonders country. Its not too difficult to find any Halal food in Cambodia, many Halal restaurant can be found in Phnom Penh like D'Wau, D'Nyonya, Bengawan Solo and many more. Please do not hesitate if you see the Halal's logo or signs. Besides that, Colonel Adnan also gave some advices to us to keep our behaviour during our period stay in Cambodia.
Lastly, we ended our visiting with the group photo session. Thanks for inviting us to the Embassy. We had so much experiences and advices from them. We really appreciate it. Thank You =)
