A luncheon but yet Memorable..

Its a day that the Rangers have waited for, a luncheon with the Minister of Defence, Dato' Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and his delegate. Previously we have been told by the embassy that there is a luncheon with the Ministry of Defence on Thursday, 28 July at the embassy main hall.  In his visit in Cambodian from July 27-29, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi paid courtesy meeting with Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, H.E. General Tea Banh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense. The main purpose of the visiting is to promote military cooperation between two nations, as what in his speech in the luncheon. The Rangers prepared earlier in the morning as we don't want to be late for the ceremony and we arrived at 11pm, as we arrived at the embassy, the minister have make his way to the main hall. The Rangers sat in a table with the media and press, as the minister walk into the hall, the crowd stand and greet him.

Its a very delicious local cuisine that we had; rendang, black paper beef and few more dishes that serve on our table. After the luncheon, we have the opportunity to sat with the media and press, and this rarely opportunity is used wisely for the Rangers to ask several question about the media career.

At the end of the day, we've been ask by one of the media crew from NSTP, mrs Ratinawati to accompany her to the Central Market for some shopping…and from there, we've met other parties and later tag along with us and have dinner at Cafe Malaya.

The night is still young for the Malaysian delegacy, the media crew from Bernama, TV9 and RTM have ask us to show around Phnom Penh city, and we play our part as Malaysian citizen to give them good hospitality and enjoyable moment that they wont forget. We will see them again soon…maybe for the Raya wishes?hehe..~enjoy~..
