Rent House

We soon arrived in front of a very huge green gate house.As we enter, we were stunned by it.It was so nice and big house.We were very much amazed with the lawn area.It was very broad.The lawn covered with dim trees.I can feel the calmness and harmony vibration there.We were greeted by our rent house owner in charge, Bong Manith.She was so polite and friendly to talk with.Our rent house situated at No. 35 Street 510 , Sangkat Psar Deoum Thkov , Khan Chamkarmorn.What surprise us was inside the house.Not only very clean and tidy ,  it is also fully furnished from television , refrigerator , kitchen complete with kitchen equipment.You name it.It also had one bedroom comes with one king size bed.Everything is already there including bed sheets , pillows , fans, electricity cables and extension.What could we ask for more ? Since we are 10 people , girls stayed in the house and the boys will stayed in other medium but comfy room at the back of the house.The rent house cost $300 per month, excluded monthly electricity and water bills.

We put our bags and luggage in the rent house and went out for our lunch.We all was so hungry because some of us did not take any breakfast yet at the airport.Perhaps having goosebumps and nervous about staying outside the country for a long time.Both of our senior Basit and Black , took us to KFC.Yes KFC was our very own 1st meal in Cambodia.Haha.While waiting to reach there , our seniors shared their knowledge and advices in order to survive here.They also introduce us some areas and places how to get and find important things during our daily life such as groceries , halal foods , internet , which company to buy sim card that is very cheap for international call and etc.We were so grateful to have such concern seniors to look upon us and help us in every way and teach us to learn to be independent as the same time.

Normally if we go to the fast food restaurant like KFC , we can quickly decide what to eat.However this time is pretty much different.I think this is the longest time for us to make an order.The menu was quite confusing , not to mention the price.Thus, the whole set of snack plate was very cheap.You can get the whole snack or dinner plate as low as $4.It is also our 1st time using cambodian money.Do you know that they used two types of currency which is :

1. US dollar

2. Cambodian Riel

It was bit tricky for us to understand how does both currency works , but you will get used to it once you very often buying stuffs there.
