Last training and lunch with FIA staff

This is continuance from the previous post ‘IT Training for FIA Staffs’.  After FiA team has been assigned with the Adobe Photoshop, PC Maintenance and Adobe Illustrator training, the FiA staff has ask for another training which is Adobe Flash Premium.

The training was held on Wednesday, 11th of December 2013. FiA team and FiA staff agreed to have the lesson with 2 sessions. The first session is in the morning from 9 a.m to 11 a.m, while the second session starts from 2 p.m to 4 p.m. The person in charge of this training is Wasim, and assists by Rara and Liyana from FiA team together with Man from RUA team and Aqilah from FA team. During the break time, FiA staff generously provided us appetizing lunch.

It is a great challenge for us to teach the staff about Adobe Flash Premium since it is more complicated and it takes a lot of time to comprehend with it. However, we give the best effort to guide the staff with the basic lesson of Adobe Flash Premium.

The basic lesson starts with how to make a new file and move the picture or object by convert it to symbol and set the type as movie clip. The lesson continued with how to use timeline. The timeline is vital in this lesson as it functions as time for the animation/flash object start and stop moves.  Furthermore, the lesson on how to make a simple animation and flash banner is included. For this lesson staffs are taught on how to add text. The staffs successfully follow the guide given by Wasim and now able to make their own simple animation and flash banner.

Last but not least, this training went smoothly as planned and it got a bit emotional when we saying goodbye to each other since this training is the last training that FiA team being assigned with. Hopefully with the basic lesson provided by us, the FiA staffs able to make their baby steps in exploring the Adobe Flash Premium.
