JALAN-JALAN CARI MAKAN IN PHNOM PENH #7

Warung Bali

We knew about Warung Bali restaurant from Bong Marnith, our house owner. She told us that the restaurant serves Indonesian authentic food and what is important is that it serves halal food. We were very excited when we knew about it. Thank you Bong for the useful information.

Warung Bali

It is located at No 25Eo, Street 178 on the same line as the Sentosa Silk near the River Side. It took us about 20 minutes ride by tuktuk from our house at Psar Deoum Tkov to the restaurant. We were wandering what kind of food we will eat when we got there.

When we enter the restaurant, it was full with foreigners from other countries who want to eat halal dishes. The price for the food is affordable for us as students. We ordered Nasi putih, Sup Buntot, Ayam berlado, terung masak khecap, mee goreng and nasi goreng ayam. The food was very delicious! The staffs were also nice to us and they can speak in Indonesian. So, it was easy for us to communicate with them.

Here are some of the menus served at Warung Bali.

Nasi gila (Crazy rice in english) LOL!!

We laugh when we saw 'Soup Buntut'. Actually it means Oxtail Soup.

That’s all about Warong Bali. Just wait for the next entry, we will continue with the next halal restaurant in Phnom Penh.
